You fly
then you also know
the taste of the fall
The terror
the lack of control
spiraling down on broken wings
When your soul is bound
and the tears spring
uncalled for your sorrow
For the pain of falling
Is all the greater when one knows
freedom's flight
It is a pain and sorrow
so much it could never be borne
Yet it must be borne
Because without the strength
to withstand the fears of falling
once can never
never ever ever again
Fly
